Chelsea are expected to see off struggling Watford when they clash at Vicarage Road on Saturday. They have enjoyed a brilliant fun in the last few games as the team gel more following initial hiccups.
The defence would be boosted by the return of Antonio Rudiger after a successful week of training as he returns from cruciate ligament rupture. The German is desperate to return to action to try and reclaim his shirt in the starting lineup. In his absence Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori have formed a decent partnership which Frank Lampard might not want to trade.
Rudiger might get some minutes from the bench as Lampard would want to develop match ready options as the ember months game rush begins. Chelsea have Ajax, Palace, Man City, Valencia and West Ham coming up so options is good news.
Ruben-Loftus Cheek, N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley and Andreas Christensenare not yet fully fit due to various injury concerns.
Watford still have numerous injury concerns, but Nigerian forward Isaac Success is set to make his return from injury. The injured list includes Danny Welbeck, Etienne Capoue, Tom Cleverley, the skipper Troy Deeney and others.
They are yet to get their first win and netted just once in their last five matches in all competitions. Quique Sánchez Florescan do little to inspire the teamwhich is being ruined to the ground. The Hornets plan for reinforcements in the winter window whilst hoping that the injured would return and assist them crack up some points else it’s relegation.
