Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Wolfsburg’s Swiss player Ricardo Rodriguez as a probable replacement for England player Ashley Cole, whose contract with the London club comes to an end at the season end and Chelsea has not signed a new deal with him yet.
Ashley Cole, who is awaited to start for England in the match against Germany, has been left off of the London’s club’s starting XI in the past 2 games, with right back Cesar Azpilicueta replacing him.
There are reports that Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho is looking for a new left-back and he is now looking for Swiss twenty one year old Swiss left back Ricardo Rodriguez. A leading United Kingdom tabloid has suggested that he is the major target of Jose Mourinho.
The talented defender moved to Bundesliga in 212’s January from FC Zurich and he has always been present for Dieter Hecking’s team till now this term and he has markedly affected all with his all round talent.
Ricardo Rodriguez has also come as a top choice for a young Switzerland team and he also has fixed his spot at the World Cup team in Brazil next summer. Rodriguez, born to Chilean mother and Spanish father, could also be available for other teams if they offer a right price.
